About the Card
New for 2008! The American Lung Association of North
Carolina is introducing a bigger and better Golf Privilege Card®. The
American Lung Association of North Carolina has joined forces with ten
other Lung Associations in the Southeast to produce a new, ten state
card with discounts at over 700 courses! That's an increase of more than 400 courses
than the 2007 card!
Due to the ten state expansion, the 2008 Golf
Privilege card will no longer include the peel off membership card
that had previously been attached to a thank you letter. We have
reverted back to our previous design that is again, only a booklet.
Also, back due to popular demand, tracking information is now listed
beside each course for those that have limited plays during the year.
The new 2008 Golf Privilege Card® booklet contains all the course
listings and discount information. As in previous years before the peel
off card was used, you will have to present the entire 2008 Golf
Privilege Card booklet in order to receive your discount!
Golf Privilege Card booklets must be signed in
order for course discounts to be honored. A photo ID may be
requested as proof of identity. Enjoy Discount Golf in North
Carolina!
Pricing
The price for the 2008 Golf Privilege Card® is
still $40 per card plus processing fee*. The American Lung Association of North Carolina
also offers a "Buy Three Get One Free" discount. Bulk
discounts are offered when purchasing more than 80 cards at one time.
Card Benefits FREE or reduced green fees at over
700 courses in North Carolina, Alabama, Arkansas,
Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi,
South Carolina and Virginia. Discounts at select Golf Pro Shops/Stores Discounts at Golf Practice Facilities Help fight lung disease! All proceeds from your Golf Privilege Card® purchase will go toward promoting Lung Health in your North Carolina community. The proceeds help support Asthma Education programs, Asthma Camps for Kids, Lung Disease Patient Support, Tobacco Education, Medical Research, and Air Quality.
